When we talk about digital nomads and freelancers, places like Bali and Galle (Sri Lanka) automatically come in mind. But with time, remote work is slowly getting popular in India. Certain locations in India have seen a lot of interest from digital nomads like me and Mcleodganj is one such place.
Volunteering with a local NGO is a very unique experience for travellers. Nothing can be more rewarding than making a difference in the lives of the locals. Today, there are a number of NGOs operating in various districts of Himachal Pradesh that work in fields of cleanup to education.
Nothing changed in the coming years. In 2019, the quantity of waste has increased. During the cleanup drives in the same area, the amount of waste has now increased to 210 kgs and the problem doesn’t seem to be ending.
June 2018 marks the day when I left my job and started traveling. When I started my journey, I had no idea that I'll make it this far, but somehow I did.
